Every July since 2005 Kewley has been t
he host of the annual ACCREDITED DISTRIBUTORS TRADE SHOW.
And on Friday July 25th he was there again at the massive Accredited warehouse in Dandenong where Australia’s confectionery, snack and beverage suppliers showcase their products to a wide and varied range of customers.
Owners of Milk Bars, Independent Supermarkets and Convenience Stores from all over Victoria come to sample the latest products and get great deals from the major companies like Mars, Cadbury, Nestle, Arnott’s, Red Bull, Wrigleys and Smith’s Crisps, to smaller manufacturers like Montana Sweets, Universal Candy and Mrs Higgins Cookies (from New Zealand), who display their products in booths and colourful areas.
Kewley runs competitions and activities throughout the day, giving away prizes and interviewing visiting celebrities, which this year included AFL players Nick Maxwell & Ben Hudson from the Collingwood Footy Club (main picture, with the Rockstar Girls!) along with Jonathan Patton from Greater Western Sydney, and Adam Cooney & Matty Boyd from the Western Bulldogs.
Just two of the tasty new treats at the show in 2014 were Cadbury’s Marvellous Creations Fizzy Cola Chocolate, and Tim Tim Chocolate Bites made by Ernest Hillier! Yummo!!!
