October 31, 2012 / Jeremy / Stage
0

Kewley has commenced rehearsals for the play DEATH OF A COMEDIAN which opens on November 28th at La Mama’s  Courthouse Theatre in Carlton.

Kewley stars as ‘Graham Dempster’ alongside Kevin Summers, Tim Ferris, David Nash, Shannon Woollard, Wendy Little, Karla Silvey and Linden Compassi.

“It’s the wild frontier of the green room at a comedy venue. Here it’s a game of survival: kill or be killed. Enter into the room a battered survivor of eighties Oz comedy. He wants to take on the audiences again. Has he got what it takes to stay in the game this time?”

Written by Fred Rowan and Directed by Bruce Langdon it plays from November 28 to December 9 – Wednesday &  Sundays at 6.30pm , and Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7.30pm.
